Cupping three coffees in October

Gus and I had a mixed week. Mostly I'm glad I kept going with steaming milk. The difference was small but obvious: a bright, fruity cup. The numbers, for the record: 95 °C water and 37 seconds.

The result was a sweet, balanced cup, or close enough. Then I changed the grind setting twice, mostly out of curiosity.

Honestly, I enjoyed the failures nearly as much as a clean pour-over. Next on the list: weighing every shot.
